Can you believe this is the last week of our Summer Program? Where did the weeks go? Monday, August 23, is the official first day of school here at Angels in Arms.

Welcome back to the returning parents and welcome to the new families who began this week! Thank you for joining the Angels in Arms family.

I have made some staff changes for the new school year and thank you for your understanding. Miss DeeDee and I will be here if you have any questions.

Parent handbooks will be available on Monday. This year I need your signature before you take a handbook. Parent signatures are also required to sign your child in and out of Angels. 

This was our last theme day. Thank you for participating in "favorite sport." As always, the Gators won with the most participants.

There is No Water Play This Week. The children had a great time running through the sprinklers all summer.

Please wear your favorite color on Wednesdays in August and your Angel t-shirts on Thursdays for school spirit day.

Our Annual Parent Picnic will be Friday, August 20, 2010 at 11:30 for infants, toddlers and 2k and 12:00 for 3k and 4k and 5k. This is a great day to meet your new teacher and say good-bye to your old teacher. I know there will be tears as we say good-bye to our 5k children who will be starting Kindergarten on August 23. Some of these families have been with us for 5 years.

Angels in Arms will be closed for Labor Day, September 6. Our first PTO meeting will be Tuesday, August 24 with a pizza party for the parents and the children. Babysitting will be provided by staff members.
